Louis Qui ’29, on the St. George’s U15 team, represented the United States at the Vietnam International Mathematics Competition (VIMC) 2025 held in Da Nang, Vietnam, and won the Team Champion in the key Stage III Division as a member of Team USA.
The competition, hosted by the University of VKU, took place from August 12–16, 2025, bringing together nearly 600 participants from over 30 countries. Organized by the International Mathematics Committee (IMC), which has been holding international math competitions since the 1990s, VIMC is recognized as one of the premier global math contests for high school students.
Louis competed as part of the U.S. National delegation, participating in both individual and team rounds, achieved an outstanding performance, winning the Team Championship and an individual medal.
